In addition to the training, you will benefit from 3.5 hours of specialised training (session on the agenda) offered in the first year following this training.

Prerequisites
- Mastering the fundamentals of animal ethics and the responsibilities of a procedure applicator
- Understand the basic biology of rodents and lagomorphs and their specific uses
- Understand the operating principles and health management of a pet store housing these species
- Master the basic gestures for their maintenance, handling, restraint and simple procedures
Regulation, ethics, 3Rs, ethics committees, SBEA, alternative methods, limit points, euthanasia, criteria for choosing a model
- Specialised module for rodents and lagomorphs (32.5 hrs)
Specific biology of rodents and lagomorphs (ethology, anatomy, physiology), organisation and equipment of animal facilities, maintenance and enrichment techniques, observation of animals, health monitoring, pathologies, breeding, genetics, anaesthesia, analgesia, euthanasia, interest in models, handling, restraint and minimally invasive procedures.
