Our training courses comply with the regulations governing the initial training that staff involved in the use of animals for scientific purposes must undergo within a year of taking up their post, and for the practice of surgery.
Our training courses enable you to keep your knowledge up to date and in compliance with legislative requirements (3 days of continuing education over 6 years), for the responsible use of animals in research and the development of alternative methods.

This course is aimed at scientific professionals, researchers, veterinary surgeons and laboratory technicians who work with laboratory animals and would like to improve their knowledge of animal welfare assessment using ethological methods. It explores how natural behaviours and behavioural indicators can reveal the state of animal welfare, contributing to more ethical research practices and more reliable data.

This training consists of the basic module for procedure designers + a specific module for rodents and lagomorphs.
In addition to the training, you will benefit from 3.5 hours of specialised training (session on the agenda) offered in the first year following this training.
