In addition to the training, you will benefit from 3.5 hours of specialised training (session on the agenda) offered in the first year following this training.

Prerequisites
- Mastering the fundamentals of animal ethics and the responsibilities of a procedure applicator
- Understand the basic biology of non-human primates and the specific features of their use
- Understand the operating principles and health management of a pet store housing these species
- Master the basic gestures for their maintenance and handling
Regulation, ethics, 3Rs, ethics committees, SBEA, alternative methods, limit points, euthanasia, criteria for choosing a model
- Specialised module on non-human primates (32.5h)
Specific biology of non-human primates (ethology, anatomy, physiology), organisation and equipment of animal facilities, maintenance and enrichment techniques, observation of animals, conditioning, health monitoring, pathologies, holding conditions, anaesthesia, analgesia, euthanasia, interest in models, visit to a site and observation of minimally invasive procedures.
