In addition to the training, you will benefit from 3.5 hours of specialised training (session on the agenda) offered in the first year following this training.

Prerequisites
- Master the fundamentals of animal ethics and the responsibilities of an animal carer
- To know the basics of ruminant and equine biology and the specificities of their use
- Understand the operating principles of a pet store housing these species
- Master the basic gestures for their maintenance and handling
Regulation, ethics, 3Rs, ethics committees, SBEA, euthanasia
- Specialised module for ruminants and equines (27.5 hrs)
Specific biology of ruminants and equines (ethology, anatomy, physiology), organisation and equipment of animal facilities, water quality, maintenance and enrichment techniques, transport, observation of animals, pathologies, euthanasia, site visit and observation of minimally invasive procedures.
