In addition to the training, you will benefit from 3.5 hours of specialised training (session on the agenda) offered in the first year following this training.

Prerequisites
- Master the fundamentals of animal ethics and the responsibilities of an animal carer
- To know the basics of the biology of carnivores and pigs and the specificities of their use
- Understand the operating principles of a pet store housing these species
- Master the basic procedures for their care, handling and restraint

- Specialist module for carnivores and pigs (27.5 hrs)
Specific biology of carnivores and pigs (ethology, anatomy, physiology), organisation and equipment of animal facilities, maintenance and enrichment techniques, observation of animals, pathologies, euthanasia, site visit and observation of minimally invasive procedures.
