Ethics committees play a fundamental role in the evaluation and supervision of research projects involving animals, ensuring compliance with ethical and animal welfare standards. This course is aimed at current or future members of animal experimentation ethics committees, and is designed to enhance their skills in the ethical evaluation of research protocols.
Notions of animal ethics, animal models, principles of alternative methods, severity of procedures, limit points, guided reading of a DAP (project authorisation request), APAFIS, fate of animals
Application of the principles presented in e-learning: prospective and real assessment of the severity of procedures, DAP review, ethical assessment, communication on animal experimentation, etc.
Assessment of knowledge in the form of a questionnaire leading to a training certificate
