This module must be supplemented by a basic module to provide initial training in animal experimentation.
Only the joint validation of a basic module and a module specific to a group of species can lead to an initial regulatory training certificate.
Scientific degree (Bac+5) or scientific degree (Bac+2) and 5 years' experience working under the supervision of a Bac+5 graduate.
Specific biology of aquatic species (ethology, anatomy, physiology), organisation and equipment of animal houses, maintenance and enrichment techniques, observation of animals, health monitoring, pathologies, breeding, genetics, anaesthesia, analgesia, euthanasia, interest in models, handling, restraint and minimally invasive procedures.
