This course is aimed at people wishing to familiarise themselves with the latest advances in in vitro approaches, in particular organoid models and Organ-on-Chip (OOC) technologies. Organoids and OOCs offer promising alternatives to animal models by recreating physiological microenvironments that enable certain human functions to be studied in the laboratory. This course provides a comprehensive overview of these technologies and their applications.
