Scientific research involving the use of animals raises fundamental ethical, scientific and societal issues. Faced with growing expectations in terms of responsibility and transparency, it is essential to rethink our practices in order to combine scientific rigour, respect for animals and open communication with society.
The course aims to raise awareness of good ethical practice among research professionals and to strengthen their ability to incorporate the 3Rs principles (Reduction, Refinement, Replacement) into their projects. It offers a comprehensive approach to promoting responsible, transparent research that complies with regulatory and societal requirements.
